Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Naarks website and to the services we offer through it. By using this website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. If we sign a separate written agreement or quote with you for a service, that document applies together with these terms and prevails if there is a conflict.

2. Our services

Naarks offers six services: Move to Canada; Move to Mauritius; Settle & Get Started; Work & Grow; Family & Education; and Business Across Borders. Services are provided in the places where we can deliver them reliably, and some may be introduced gradually. We may add, change or stop services at any time.

3. Our role as a bridge

In many cases Naarks acts as an introducer, coordinator and guide, not as the provider of the underlying service. Landlords, schools, employers, candidates, travel suppliers, businesses and other professionals we introduce you to are independent and responsible for their own services, prices and conduct. Your arrangement with them is between you and them. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, such as housing, admission to a school, a job, a business deal or an immigration decision.

4. No professional advice

The information on our website, including our guides and checklists, is general and for information only. Requirements and timelines change and vary by province, country and personal circumstances. Naarks does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical or real estate brokerage advice unless we expressly say so in writing. For those matters, please consult a qualified and, where required, licensed professional and check current requirements with the relevant authority.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate, complete and current information
  • Provide the documents and decisions we reasonably need, on time
  • Use our services lawfully and respectfully
  • Make your own decisions after checking information that matters to you

6. Fees and payment

Fees, the scope of work and payment terms are confirmed in a quote or written agreement before a paid service starts. Fees may not include costs charged by third parties, such as rent, tuition, flights, accommodation or government fees, and applicable taxes, such as GST and QST in Canada, are added where they apply. Prices are shown in the currency stated in the quote.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms for each service are set out in the quote or written agreement for that service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, or the consumer laws that apply where you live.

8. Using our website

You agree not to misuse the website. In particular, you must not:

  • Break the law or infringe the rights of others
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or other users' information
  • Introduce viruses or harmful code, or overload or disrupt the site
  • Copy or collect content or data from the site by automated means without our permission

9. Intellectual property

The Naarks name, logo, website design, text, illustrations and other content belong to Naarks or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell or otherwise reuse our content without our written permission.

10. Information you send us

When you send us a message or other content, you allow us to use it to respond to you and to provide the services you request. We will use your testimonial, story or photo in our marketing only with your separate permission.

11. Third-party links

Our website may link to websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the website will always be available or free of interruptions.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Naarks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or data, arising from your use of the website or our services, or from the acts or omissions of third parties we introduce you to. Where we are found liable, our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for bodily injury or for intentional or gross fault, or your rights as a consumer.

14. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes do not affect a written agreement we have already signed with you unless the law requires it or you agree.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the competent courts of Quebec. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live, including in Mauritius.
